Membership of Rotary Inner Melbourne Emergency Relief Network (RIMERN) is open to any registered community support agency, whether Government, Private or not-for-profit, that services clients in the cities of Stonnington, Port Phillip, Yarra, Melbourne, Glen Eira, Darebin, Merri-Bek or Banyule.

Member Agencies’ Case Managers will each be issued with an individual Accreditation Number and all Case Managers orders will be totalled to determine Member Agency’s annual fees (Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum).

The Annual membership fees will be provided on request.

Please note, we’re sorry but RIMERN is unable to respond to individual client requests. Only clients introduced by a service agency/ provider or member Rotary Club can be assisted.

At a practical level….

Clients, if attending the warehouse in person, must be accompanied by an accredited representative of the Agency member, unless prior arrangements have been made with warehouse volunteers. Agency members must supervise their clients at all times whilst in the warehouse.

No children please! For safety reasons in our working warehouse we do not allow children under 14 so clients must organise child minding if they attend a Goods Selection Appointment.

If clients can’t attend to select their goods, RIMERN volunteers will call them with options and then put together the best combination of furniture, appliances and homewares to create a comfortable, welcoming home. We add decor touches and aim to make everything match so that our clients are proud of their new homes!
